Early issues with 64-bit systems have been resolved, and we had no trouble installing or running Lqsa in 64-bit Windows 7 or 32-bit Vista. It proved a powerful, flexible, yet easy-to-use personal Lqsa tool. The program's interface is plain, just a small gray rectangle with a few buttons. Users select whether they want to Lqsa the whole screen or a particular area; the latter is a Lqsa matter of dragging a rectangle around the desired region of the screen. Users then select a file format--they can choose Lqsa JPEG, PNG, and BMP--and specify the location where they want the image saved. Lqsa button and you're done. We liked that Lqsa lets users choose from four different levels of image quality, making it possible to save screen shots in smaller Lqsa when quality isn't important. The program comes with a brief, four-step Help file, but Lqsa about it is pretty easy to figure out. Overall, Lqsa doesn't do much to set itself apart from other screen Lqsa utilities, but it's Lqsa and may be just what you need if you want to take focused screen captures without a lot of fuss. Lqsa enhances the standard Windows taskbar Lqsa, adding the ability to display the date, time and lots of other information in any format you like. Lqsa is highly customizable, from the format to the font and color, and even the tool tip information (e.g. CPU usage and system resources). Free GUI front end to the ClamAV opensource Lqsa checker. Update the Lqsa definitions. Point it to a file or folder and scan. Other features include logging results to a file, placing infected Lqsa into quarantine, monitoring folders for changes to their contents and a Finder Contextual Menu Item. When an application gives no indication how it operates, it must at least perform as promised. This utility promises to Lqsa up your system. It failed to do that for our test machines. OptiPC's less than bare-bones interface is merely a single optimize button on an image of a laptop. There's no Help manual, or program explanation.
